One of the most talked-about couples in Hollywood is the 34-year-old country music performer Jessie James Decker and her husband, the former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker.
They got married in 2013 at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Castle Rock, Colorado, and now have three kids together: son Forrest Bradley, 3, and boys Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, 6, and daughter Vivianne Rose, 7.

Karen Parker, Jessie James Decker’s mother, recently went onto the “Got It From My Momma” podcast, hosted by Jennifer Vickery Smith, and spilled some secrets, including that when she first met Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker‘s now husband, she warned her daughter not to sleep with him!
“So they’re both Googling each other and they decide to meet in Nashville,” she started to explain how Jesse James Decker and Eric Decker met. “What’s funny [is] , on that particular weekend I was leaving when Eric was coming in. So we cross each other in the airport and I met him, he was very sweet.”
“I know what was in his head — ‘If this girl is anything like the mom I just met this is going to go well’,” she continued to say on the podcast.
After meeting Eric at the airport, Karen Parker texted her daughter a warning.
“I said Jessica, I know you’re gonna want to sleep with this guy. I go, ‘But don’t do it!” she said while laughing on the podcast. “He is so beautiful but you just met.”
Jessie James Decker On Her Strong Marriage With Eric
Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker have been married since 2013 and now have three children together. When speaking to Fox News Digital, the country music singer revealed what keeps her and Eric’s marriage so strong.
“I’ve been really lucky to be able to bring Eric, bring the kids, whenever it makes sense for our schedules. And so we’re rarely apart that long,” she said. “We’ve got a day rule where three days is like the absolute limit. Even though a couple of weeks ago, during the second week, it was a little bit longer. And I struggled with that.”
“We’re fortunate,” she continued to say. “We get to be together and, you know, music is family, and I’ve just been blessed with that. As soon as Eric retired, I was able to start working, and it was his turn to be a support system for me. So, we’ve been blessed with that.”
In regards to her latest journey — competing on “Dancing With the Stars” — Jessie James Decker said having Eric by her side has helped with the stress and struggles.
“Eric has been my rock through this entire process so far,” she continued to tell Fox News Digital. “He even stopped by dance rehearsals [Wednesday] , and I was hard on myself because I wasn’t getting it. And him just walking in and just hugging me is everything. He’s my person, and he is my rock.”
