In 2022, Square Enix released a number of unimpressive games, but there were some notable exceptions, such as Artdink’s Triangle Strategy. According to a recent tweet, it has reached one million in digital sales and worldwide shipments. On March 18, two weeks following its Nintendo Switch release, the strategy RPG’s digital sales, and shipments were last estimated to be close to 800,000.
It’s since launched for PC via Steam and is discounted by 40 percent until tomorrow. Set in Norzelia, the story concerns three kingdoms – Glenbrook, Aesfrost, and Byzantine. When Aesfrost invades Glenbrook, Serenoa of House Wolfforth must manage the ensuing conflict, making difficult decisions and ultimately fighting back.
Combat is grid-based, but instead of recruiting new units, you have different party members with unique abilities that lend their aid. It also utilizes the same HD-2D art style as Octopath Traveler and the upcoming Octopath Traveler 2. For more details, you can check out our review here.
